A TRIBUTE TO MY MOTHER=)

I'm here to honor the one I love
She's my mother, my best friend, my counselor, ya' know all of the above
I can't thank her enough for all that she has done
With the help of God, all the obstacles have been fought and won
Hearing her voice will make you melt
And with the help of her fellow musicians, oh it's something else
Now accomplishing these things were not easy along the way
Her entire journey, God tested her faith
One night she was standing in the need of prayer (a song mama wrote as a teenager)
It seemed as if God was gone because she didn't feel him anywhere
But she began climbing high mountains (another song mama wrote as a teenager), she was almost there
She was struggling to make it, but it wasn't something she couldn't bear
She got down on her knees and said "Lord it seems like you're just showing up after all the times I been down".
A soft voice whispered in her ear, "God was waiting on you and testing your faith cause he's been around." (another one of mama's songs)
Situations like that influence her to sing praises uplifting his name
It's been like that her entire life and nothing has changed
Music is her passion and Christ is her way
Her blessings don't come from luck, they come from faith.
